Well, tomorrow morning that is. Tomorrow is Nash’s debut show in Atlanta, and yes I think I’ll show Lizzie too, naked belly and all. Naturally, it has been raining for about 3 days so the yard is a mud pit…I’m washing and drying dogs knowing full well that they will get filthy again before tomorrow. Sigh. We leave at about 7 am and show around 2:30ish Eastern time.
Wish us luck! If nothing else, I want Nash to have a good experience. I’m not too worried as he pretty much thinks life is a party thrown just for him, but you never know when something weird will happen to a puppy! And Atlanta is indoors, noisy and usually crowded. These first shows are so important for building that great show attitude for later, so I will be trying my best to keep it lighthearted and fun.

Dear Nash,
Dog shows are SOOO much fun! Everyone tells you how CUTE and CHARMING you are… especially if you wag wag wag your tail, so be sure to do lots of that! You get lots and lots of cookies – even better ones than you get at home! Someone comes and gives you lovies on the table and that’s a lotta fun too – be sure to give em a kiss – that makes them smile! You get to walk around in this big open area with your HumanMom and EVERYONE is watching you! It’s awesome being the center of attention! (as it should be!)
You’ll have a great time – I just know it! I can’t wait to hear how you like it! I know I, for one, LOVE it!!

Harmony sends her best to Nash. And, yes, life is a party thrown just for the cardi pups! Nash will do great. After watching the videos, I can tell you’re an excellent trainer and will show him beautifully. Can’t wait to hear how well he does!
