“Mad about Madeline” is a book in the acclaimed children’s book series “Madeline”.  The main character, the smallest of many and who had bright red hair, was always described as irrepressible, mischievous, and precocious. She may have been the smallest of the 12 little girls in two straight lines, but she certainly was the feistiest.  And that just fits our Madeline to a “T”!  Always the smallest (and arguably the cutest, shhh don’t tell the others), miss Maddie is a bright red brindle with a spunky independent attitude.  Dixie, like most people, was unable to resist her charms when she came to take her pick from the girls, so she ended up with two puppies…Echo and Maddie.  Hopefully someday Maddie may have an agility career too…for now, she’s just starting to get into the conformation ring.
